When you register for an account with Spotlight.ai, we ask for information such as your name, email address, and phone
Spotlight.ai uses collected information for the following general purposes: products and services provisioning, identification and authentication, service improvement, contact, and research.

Data Sharing with Third-Party Tools
Our app shares certain user data with third-party AI models to enhance our services. The specific data shared includes:

• Meeting transcripts

• Meeting participants

​Google Workspace APIs are not used to develop, improve, or train generalized/non-personalized AI and/or ML models.

User Consent for Data Sharing
Before any data is shared with third-party AI models, we obtain explicit user consent. This consent is collected during the first login to the Spotlight.ai service.  Users have the option to opt out of data sharing at any time by sending email request to support@spotlight.ai.
Please note that the consent process for data sharing is independent of the Google OAuth consent process.

Data Retention 

We store your personal information for a period of time that is consistent with our business purposes.
We will retain your personal information for the length of time needed to fulfill the purposes outlined in this privacy policy unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. When the data retention period expires for a given type of data, we will delete or destroy it.
You may request for your data to be deleted by sending an email to support@spotlight.ai or submitting a request through SUPPORT.

Spotlight.ai uses third-party vendors and hosting partners to provide the necessary hardware, software, networking, storage, and related technology required to run Spotlight.ai’s website and app. Although Spotlight.ai owns the code, databases, and all rights to the Spotlight.ai website or mobile apps, you retain all rights to your data.

Disclosure

Spotlight.ai may disclose personally identifiable information under special circumstances such as to comply with subpoenas.

Spotlight.ai Google Calendar connector's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Spotlight.ai may periodically update this policy. We will notify you about significant changes in the way we treat personal information by sending a notice to the primary email address specified in your Spotlight.ai primary account holder account or by placing a prominent notice on our site.
